It takes a village.
Find certified peer supporters to build your own personal village of support using our digital platform.
What is peer support?
A peer is someone we identify with because we have shared identity or experience. This might be age, gender, sexual orientation, race, ethnicity, speaking the same language, being a veteran, an immigrant or from the same country or town.
In mental health, a peer is usually used to refer to someone who shares the experience of living with mental health challenges. Peer supporters offer emotional support, share knowledge, teach skills, and provide advice based on their own experience.
Our certified peer supporters have lived mental health experience, have gone through training, and have received a certification that demonstrates their skills and knowledge.
How do I find a peer supporter through Flourish Labs?
We are launching a beta version of the Flourish Labs peer support network this fall. The first version of our product is going to be very basic but we will continue to release new versions with your feedback. As a beta tester, your input will shape the way our product evolves.
If you’re interested in finding a supporter, you will have the option to either browse all of the peer supporters on our network or be matched to a few supporters that meet your needs. After you have found the right supporters for you, you can book one-on-one support sessions via our digital platform. You can book with one or multiple supporters, allowing you to craft a village of support around you that caters to your specific needs.
Sessions will take place on video calls built around your schedule. You can choose to see the same supporter multiple times, or just book a single session to discuss something specifically. All sessions will be free for testers during our beta phase.
Get free support from your peers. Build your village. Contribute to a new era of mental wellness. Are you ready to get started?
