We partner with health plans and provider groups to deliver quality mental health care at lower cost
Our professional peer support for youth is age-appropriate, culturally responsive, built for the healthcare system – and it scales with demand.
Youth mental health is the defining public health crisis of our time.
— Vivek Murphy, U.S. Surgeon General

We close your workforce gap
We hire and train young adults with diverse backgrounds and past experience of mental health challenges to become certified Peer Support Specialists.
Our proprietary state of the art virtual training was developed in partnership with experienced peer supporters, online learning design experts at WGU, and young adults. It meets state certification guidelines and SAMHSA national model standards for Peer Support Specialists.
Our growing provider base can be tailored to your community’s needs. We get hundreds of applications for each training cohort, and can bring new providers on board within three months.
We offer age-appropriate, culturally responsive care
Our professional peer supporters provide emotional support, teach skills, and share their knowledge and personal experiences dealing with depression, anxiety, trauma, stress, body image issues, LGBTQ+ questions, and more. All our providers are young adults between 18 and 35 years old. More than half identify as LGBTQ+ and/or BIPOC.

We help you meet follow-up targets and avoid overuse of high cost treatment
If youth are referred to Peers.net after discharge from hospitalization, Intensive Outpatient Programs (IOP), Partial Hospitalization Programs (PHP) and emergency rooms, we provide follow-up virtual outpatient visits within days, not weeks or months.
Emergency department follow-up
Having an outpatient follow-up visit within 7 days was associated with a 27% decreased risk of having a return acute care encounter within 5 days of emergency department discharge.

Peer support to increase engagement with digital therapeutic apps
Scout by Sutter Health™ offers evidence-based tools, exercises and resources for self-care. Their mental health app helps youth build resilience to better manage everyday mental health.
While designing Scout, the Sutter Health team found that some users were looking for human support in addition to the app and chose to partner with Flourish Labs to provide this.
We partnered with Peers.net by Flourish Labs so that Scout users can get rapid access to 1-on-1 human support when they need it.
— Vandana Pant, Senior Director Design & Innovation, Sutter Health
